JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas -- On Sept. 30, at the stroke of midnight, the voting for the Air Force Entertainer of the Year competition closed. The winner was Tech. Sgt. Robert Carter from the 531st Intelligence Squadron "Spartans" stationed here. This year's Air Force Entertainer of the Year competition is the first in which the Air Force brought together winners from multiple entertainment venues to compete to be the best in the Air Force. The three finalists included Carter for winning #VocalUpload. The two additional finalists were: Mission Audition winner, Senior Airman Javier Rodriguez, 100th Security Forces Squadron at Royal Air Force Mildenhall United Kingdom; and Operation Talent Search winner, Angela Paraino, daughter of Master Sgt. Robert McNeill, 35th Medical Support Squadron, Misawa Air Base, Japan.
